ABOUT

CINDY THOMPSON

OWNER | EVENT PRODUCER | MAGIC MAKER

Cindy Thompson’s illustrious event career started with a birthday party for an elephant and 10,000 of its closest friends.  From there she produced the city’s largest one day celebration—Neighborfair—that brought together 300,000 Portlanders to experience the city’s vibrant communities, music, and non-profit organizations.

More than three decades later...Cindy is still creating unique happenings.  From the initial planning stages to the execution, every event she produces is developed with its own creative and unique style, driven by the client’s marketing goals and intentions.

In addition to producing events, Thompson and her son, Tyler, manage the Laurelhurst Club event venue in Portland.  Founded in 1912 and refreshed and renovated in 2021, the premiere Portland event venue hosts weddings, milestone celebrations, company meetings, retreats and much more.
